据美国联邦公报消息，2018年1月2日，美国环保署发布条例，豁免乙酸苯乙酯（Phenylethyl acetate）作为农药助剂用于农作物、农产品中的残留限量。
　　
　　乙酸苯乙酯作为农药助剂（溶剂）在农药中的最大添加量为 0.015%。本次豁免申请由Technology Science Group Inc.,公司代表Janeil Biosurfactant Company提交。 新条例自发布之日起生效，征求意见截止2018年3月5日。

　　This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of phenylethyl acetate （CAS Reg. No. 103-45-7） when used as an inert ingredient （solvent） at a maximum of 0.015% in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops and raw agricultural commodities after harvest. Technology Science Group Inc., on behalf of Janeil Biosurfactant Company, submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act （FFDCA）， requesting establishment of an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance.
